Where do I start?! LOL

My name is Linda, and I am the owner of DoodleLane. I have been an animal lover since I was a child. My mother can still remember my collections of frogs, toads, fish, hamsters etc. When I got into my teen years, I began to fill up our barn with my mother. The two of us would go to different sales, and I quickly filled up our barn with goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and horses.

I began breeding german shepherds when I was 16 years old, although our family had raised a few litters of miniature poodles when I was even younger. Animals in general are a passion of mine, and over the years I have raised many different breeds of dogs.

I always knew that golden retrievers were the greatest family pet, and when my children were very young, I began to breed the retrievers. My program started with two wonderful girls - Molly and Laya, both of whom are no longer with us today. I can't believe that it has been almost 20 years since I picked up my darling Molly! Wow time sure does fly by.

In 2002, after years worth of research and planning, I had my first litter of Goldendoodles and one year later my first litter of Labradoodles. The rest, as they say, is history! The "doodles" have found a special place in my heart, as they are a lovely tempered dog. They are extremely loyal and easy to train, amazing with children and tolerant, which makes them a very family friendly dog.

Today my house would be considered a small zoo. I absolutely LOVE what I do and would not change my 'job' for anything else. This lifestyle has allowed me to raise my 4 children as a fulltime stay-at-home mom. Since I began breeding, my children have helped out with the 'family business'. It is second nature for them.
